In this place should stand the post about Editors concert in Warsaw. Yes, "should" but unfortunately I can't write it :( but don't worry, I can tell you one story!
It was May 2015 when I bought tickets to Editors concert in Warsaw, you know me so you can imagine how happy I was. When autumn has come I decided to buy some bus tickets to Warsaw. I choose PolskiBus and booked return tickets at 23.45 after the concert. After time we decided with friends that maybe it is not a good idea to return so early - cause nothing is worse than leaving the concert before its ending. So we cancelled the tickets for PolskiBus and booked tickets to LuxExpress at 6.30 next day. I was thinking: omg waiting all night in Warsaw.... but I can do this for Editors.
The day before the concert my friend found an offer at BlaBlaCar - some guy from Cracow is going also to concert and can take us after it to Cracow - perfect! So we cancelled LuxExpress and booked a place in this car.
So the long-waited Thursday has come. I took the bus to Warsaw with my friend Musicaxe, everything was looking so good, we even received the food in the bus :) PolskiBusGold - I can recommend you this line, good conditions inside and they give people fooood! :)
So we are going to Warsaw and suddenly... we get the message that Editors has cancelled Polish concerts!!! :( omg, I almost crying there :( They said that Tom Smith is unhealthy and too unwell to perform... Now we know also, that all their upcoming concerts in 2015 are cancelled so I think, we really have to cross fingers for Tom - get well soon!
Ok, but back to the story... So we are going to Warsaw, without any stops, thinking what to do, cause the plans changed, eating the PolskiBus sandwich and thinking... so what we did? We CANCELLED the BlaBlaCar and booked PolskiBus at 18.15 from Warsaw to Cracow. We had one hour at Warsaw, we go to eat one kebab and we came back to the bus stop, and guess what... we get into the same bus with the same crew onboard. They were looking at us with a little fear in their eyes. I don't know why - we are just two poor girls which want to eat one kebab in Warsaw - what is strange in that? :)
So we started the return trip, again eat PolskiBus sandwich, (really, I started to be hungry while writing this :) and dreaming about the Spring 2016, cause the Editors team promised to postpone the concerts then. What more I can say, now I really wanna go for both Polish concerts, I have ticket for Warsaw and I will buy ticket to Poznan cause I think that I deserved that! See you soon Editors! :)

Yeah… It will be again post about Editors concert… What can I do when my mind is imagining all the time pictures from Tuesday evening?? But this time I want to tell you the story from the waiting time… Yes, time before concerts are also full of music, good music if it is a good band concert :) I have a tradition: I’m discovering good songs then. This tradition started at one U2 gig, when I first met songs from Elbow and Florence and the Machine. After Editors I have new “waiting treasure” – song from Phoenix, rather old one, cause from 2009, so how it is possible I didn’t know it??? Doesn’t matter… just close your eyes and listen to “Love Like a Sunset”! :)

Do you hear that beat? That’s the way how my heart is beating from yesterday... Today only one question is in my mind – how to describe feelings which I have in my soul, how to tell you about one of the greatest show I’ve ever been? It is hard to find words...

I love this band, deeply, truly, so I’m subjective like a hell ;) But I saw people around me and I thought: oohh there is someone else who enjoy Editors music, who can sing with Tom, jump to their music, shout and applause so much – so much that you think roof will fall down on your head.

Moreover, it is so good experience to be near the stage and see musicians so clearly, almost feel their breath.  Meeting them after concert, taking photos and chatting a little – this is even better :)

I was sure it will be big day for me, but... never dreamt it will kick me so hard! So... thank you my beloved Editors for your music and concert passion. Thank you Tom Smith for your expression and  stunning voice.  

My life is so much better now! :)

Open'er starts today - the biggest festival in Poland, with the line-up from my dreams. Editors, The National, Kings of Leon, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, and many more...  And I am not there so I must repeat to myself: Togama, you don't regret, Togama you don't really want to see them live! It is enough to look at the YouTube videos from Editors concerts and listen to their new album! Oh I forgot to write about it, so...

I don't know what to say, really. New Editors album had its premiere two days ago and I must confess I was listening it a little earlier (I can't tell you how, cause it was illegal ;). And what after one month? It is so difficult to describe feelings, when they are mixed like a hell.

On one side - I am happy that I can hear new stuff from them. Each song has something good inside, mainly Tom Smith's voice is an attribute which makes music better. But... On the other hand... I think I had too big expectations and now I am suffering. This album is too smooth, too pop, too boring... Of course nice melodies, but there is not so many quick and interesting guitar riffs like on previous albums, bass guitar is not so good and dark like earlier. So unfortunately I must tell you - I miss my old Editors :(

But I am listening still... and I find songs which I will listen in future for sure. Especially bonus recordings, yeah, I think bonus CD is better than original album!

Boys don’t cry… but girls sometimes do. Especially when they can’t share music because of copyright law. Really, it is so frustrating! I am totally crazy now about new album from The National and I wanted to give you opportunity to listen the best songs from there but nothing on YouTube, no possibility to legal listening (ok, there is one on iTunes, but come on…;) That’s why today I will play for you something completely different.

I heard about this band earlier but never listen. This weekend in world of the National music I was like a frightened rabbit – getting away from new sounds which attacked me from all sides, almost shouting: don’t give me anything new, I want to listen only “Trouble Will Find Me”! But when I read some music recommendation from my beloved Editors I never say no. So I quitted the National heaven for a while and now I don’t regret. I hope you will like it too, enjoy!

Is it midnight? Yes! Is it a new day in a calendar? Yes! Is it my turn to write a post? Yeeeeeeeeees! So I can't wait till morning, I simply can't... Some say:

But how to stay calm, when my beloved Editors turns back after four years? What more, it was really long and hard journey for them, because their guitar player, Chris Urbanowicz, left the band. Now with a new crew, with new ideas, I hope they are stronger and better.

And yes... New song is truly amazing! Maybe my opinion is subjective... but I can bet that you have the same with some music, some bands, some voices, when you hear some sounds and feel so good - so good that you can listen it on and on. Tell me that I am not only one in my music madness ;)

Yeah... My post today is completely unprofessional (some haters would say: like whole blog ;)) But who cares!! Editors are back!!
