Competition part 4

I must confess that I feel like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - one day I write here post from myself, another day post from Maxfer (cause his 2GB Internet connection is not enough for this blog), sometimes I don't know exactly who's turn is it today :) Moreover it is difficult to find each day something interesting to describe... So maybe it is better idea to write like Musicaxe - only when something will grab my heart.
That's why today nothing new, and I hope you are not bored with this game ;) But what to do when Maxfer is not here? Only one answer is on my mind, lets play his favorite bands! It's good that some of them I also like :) So today is an Arcade Fire day, especially when we hear so good news about them - new album on September 9!

oe oe a new itrack by Röyksopp called Daddy’s Groove as well as the studio version of their cover of Depeche Mode’s Ice Machine, I hope can see this band soon.

something is in the air...

Yes, something good, something amazing, something for what I am waiting from a long time. There are rumours about new U2 album, some say it will appear in autumn... Oh. My. God.
For me this band is in another music galaxy, I can't compare them with anyone else. Maybe you have enough of listening their biggest songs in commercial radio and maybe you laugh about Bono and his charity and political activity... but you must pretend that these four old men left us a lot of good music and in spite of their age, they are still one of the biggest rock bands in the world :)
I am looking at their new video recorded for ONE campain and I am thinking: they are in such a good condition! I wanna hear new music from them and moreover... I wanna go to their concert again! So please, cross fingers! I hope my dreams will come true soon...

Today some new inspiration from Eska Rock, the band Pacific Air. Yes, you see well, it's Togama speaking! There is no Internet in Warsaw (21st century pfff) or someone has stolen Maxfer's internet connection - I don't know which one is true but for sure he is not able to write on a blog... so what we can do now? how to live?
Fortunately I have an idea! I will make a competition: one band - two songs, one from Maxfer, one from me, and you can choose which one is better :)

Polish-Spanish music fight :)

While Maxfer compiles another Spanish band I wanna share with you something Polish and also connected with hip-hop. This song is a collaboration of two totally different musicians. One of them is O.S.T.R. - a Polish rapper and hip-hop record producer, known in our country from his freestyle skills and unique beats. Second one is Polish music guru - Katarzyna Nosowska - from 20 years she is on music top and always gives us something good, very popular and awarded. Her music styles are rock, alternative rock and electronic and I am a big fan of her recordings.So listen this interesting cooperation and tell me, do you like it? :)

Today one of my Spanish favorite band with the name "facto delafe y las flores azules", yes you´ve listened good is so long name and strange.
They was 3 members but one of them left the band so now they have changed the name of band for "facto delafe".
Spanish hip hop with ambient melodys, something strange that´s for sure you wanna check,

The Boxer Rebellion

I started to check concerts in Warsaw and what? OMG how many... A lot of good bands will come to Warsaw in summer and autumn so why not to go there also? I wanna see especially one of them - The Boxer Rebellion - indie band from London formed in 2001. They've released recently amazing album named "Promises" so maybe they can also promise me good party with them on stage? We'll see...

Papa - Put Me to Work

Hello! Some
time ago I’ve heard in Eska Rock one song which I don’t like so much, cause
voice of the singer is a little irritating but the music is really good,
especially the beginning. Band name is a little weird: Papa, and the title: “Put
me to work”. I must confess that I don’t
understand lyrics at all :) but this title made me thinking about all those
friendly people who are surrounding me, people who are searching for a job or
complaining a little for this what they are doing at work. Yes, sometimes it is
difficult to find job from your dreams (ok, it is always like this!) and yes,
each workplace has a lot of minuses... So I want to tell you my friends that I
cross my fingers and don’t worry cause after each storm always comes the sun!
