The National

---Togama---

May 2013 is a "big-returns-month" for me - new albums from my favorite bands and good occasion to remind their older songs.
Few years ago I spent a lot of time with The National in my headphones. Guitar music and deep voice of Matt Berninger - these are the most characteristic attributes of this American indie rock band. One of my favorite songs from their discography is:

Now they're going to release new record titled "Trouble Will Find Me" - check more info here: http://www.americanmary.com/
And here is new song:

After first singles I know which trouble will find me - trouble with spending too much money for new albums!

Kakkmaddafakka, yes yes, it is a band name

Hello! Unfortunately I don't have any jokes to share with you, maybe because of yesterday's weather - was raining a lot and I couldn't cut the grass, so inspiration didn't come... Today sun is shining and it starts to be hot outside, so read my post quickly and go somewhere, get more nacked and enjoy the spring :)
But first listen... Maxfer's post inspired me to check one band from SOS4.8 list. Name of this group is so interesting and the same is with their music. Kakkmaddafakka is Norwegian indie rock band, quite new, so not a lot songs they have. Listen this one about Kakkmaddafakka's dream and tell me, what dreams did you have recently? I know somehow that Maxfer had one interesting dream, so maybe in next post... :)

If you like it, check more here: http://www.myspace.com/kakkmaddafakka

Pa pa power

While Maxfer is writing second part of his story: "why oh why I am not on SOS festival" ;) I want to share with you one little lazy song, good for off days like today. This is "Pa pa power" from Dead Man's Bones - rock band established by Ryan Gosling. Yes yes, this Ryan Gosling who is an actor, library and librarian lover (Hey Girl!). So... Enjoy! :)

Back in time...

Today I want to go back in time to the last year and its revelation: alt-J. This British indie rock band published their first album in 2012 and started to be the most awarded musicians in Europe. "An Awesome Wave" is great combination of good voice, guitar music and drums beats. Here you can listen almost whole album and some interesting remixes:  https://soundcloud.com/alt-j

Finally, after three posts on this blog... we can listen SOMETHING GOOD ;-) enjoy!
